Descendants of Isaac HarrisBy Garda M. HodgsonADDENDAList of Additions and Corrections |
|
This webpage contains a listing of all additions and corrections made to the original document as published on the internet in 2006. Some minor corrections of typographical errors may not be included in this list, however. If you have a CD-ROM copy of the original e-book, you may order a new one at no additional cost. Just modify the order form by annotating that you are requesting an updated CD, and the webmaster will send it out to you. You can identify the original CDs by the lack of the updated contact information that now is encoded to discourage hackers at the bottom of the cover. In July, 2007, we added a different e-mail contact address that is encoded in a way that we hope will discourage hackers from harvesting the address with internet web "robots" used to set up mailing lists for spammers. If there seems to be sufficient interest, we can provide links to websites that will set up such encoded addresses for your own use. As of this writing, July 31, 2007, the webmaster moved from Texas to Utah, and is still a bit behind on getting together additions and corrections that have been submitted since the winter of 2006-2007. Watch this page for updates as to progress of any additions or corrections. They will be listed below, with hotlinks to the corrected locations in the book, so you can check to see if any data you were relying on or interested in has been edited. Additional information also will be listed, and in some cases, these will be separate addendum pages authored by users like you, but which Mrs. Hodgson has not had the time nor energy to double- and triple-check, the way she has all the data in her original book. Any such addenda will be limited to persons born before 1930, in line with conventions set for the original book. But if you have information to contribute on families not included here, please be sure to submit them. In some cases, such additional information may be placed in a different affiliated website maintained by the webmaster. Neither Garda Hodgson, the author, nor Doug Paulson, the Webmaster, takes any responsibility for material included in addenda pages authored by someone else. Users are cautioned to check all sources indicated in such pages to insure accuracy. There are LDS Family History libraries in many locations throughout the US and elswhere in the world where you can review microfilm copies of many genealogical records that are available in the massive genealogical library in Salt Lake City, where Mrs. Hodgson has done most of her verification of data she and her sister collected over the years. If you don't know where to go or how to access these sites, contact the webmaster, who will provide information. |

[These entries were encoded in July 2007 to discourage hackers. Best way is to just click on the hotlinked words "the webmaster," which will bring up your email software and automatically address the note for you. The address you see is actually a 'gif" image, so you won't be able to cut and paste it into an e-mail; you will have to write it down or type it into your address book for reference.] |
