Mabel Jannette Smith⁶ (Eliza J. Haines⁵, Mary E. Harris⁴, Ancil M.³, Zach², Isaac¹) was born August 2, 1878 in Hyrum, Cache County, Utah. She married Joseph Overson, son of Christian Overson and Jensina Christina Larsen, on April 10, 1895 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah. He was born September 18, 1863 in Fillmore, Millard County, Utah. He was a premature baby, weighing only one and one half pounds. It is said that they used his father's wooden shoe for his bed after his birth. They kept him wrapped in cotton, warmed him with lamps, and fed him with a medicine dropper. One story tells of Christian and Sina attending a church social with their tiny baby in his father's overcoat pocket. Eventually he gained weight and was a healthy child. He was 32 years old when he met his future bride. He built her a home in Leamington where they lived the rest of their lives. He died January 15, 1941 in Provo, Utah County, Utah; she followed him in death on November 8, 1961 in the hospital at Nephi, Juab County, Utah. They were buried in the Leamington Cemetery, Leamington, Millard County, Utah.

She was buried at Elysian Gardens, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah. Her first marriage was to Frank Thomas Slaughter, son of Robert E. Slaughter and Sarah Frances Farnes, on January 28, 1917 at Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah. He was born August 20, 1894 in Hinckley, Millard County, Utah. She later married Don Carlos Cheel, son of Walter Edward Cheel and Lillie Myrtle Case, on September 10, 1930 at Leamington, Millard County, Utah. He was born on October 23, 1895 in Kanosh, Millard County, Utah. She married her third husband, George Erwin Roundy, son of William Wesley Roundy and Elizabeth Reeves, on September 10, 1930 at Leamington, Millard County, Utah. He was born February 18, 1893 at Kanarraville, Iron County, Utah.

She married Robert Merrill Moulton, son of James Heber Moulton and Euphemia Ann Carroll, on June 27, 1917 at Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah. He was born November 19, 1890 at Heber City, Wasatch County, Utah, and died November 22, 1969 at Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah. James Heber Moulton was eight years old when he crossed the plains with his parents family in the ill-fated Willie Handcart Company.

She married Grant Moulton, son of James Heber Moulton and Euphemia Ann Carroll, on December 19, 1917 at Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah. He is a brother of Robert Merrill Moulton who married her sister, Sina Victoria Overson. Grant was born October 18, 1896 in Heber City, Wasatch County, Utah, and died of a heart attack on July 6, 1959 near Topaz Mountain, Juab County, Utah where he had been working for Garn Moody who owned a mine near there. He was hired to run a cement foundation for a house near the mine. Grant and Manilla were buried in Leamington Cemetery, Leamington, Millard County, Utah. Later, Manilla married Enoch Harmer Nebeker on 14 Mar 1963.
