Sarah Harris3 (Zachariah Harris2, Isaac1) was born in Franklin County, Georgia in about 1797; she was age 53 when the Fayette County, Illinois 1850 Census was taken. She moved with her parents first to Hickman County, then to Humphreys County, Tennessee where she married John Green. He was born in South Carolina, in about 1787; he was age 63 when the Fayette County, Illinois 1850 Census was taken. He died on February 5, 1852, and Sarah died August 29, 1858; both in Fayette County, Illinois. The John Green family was included in the 1830 census of Fayette County, Illinois, so apparently they came to Illinois about the same time as Sarah's father and family in 1829. His date of birth is calulated from the 1850 census record, which listed him as age 34 at the time. He married Milbury Leigh/Lee November 9, 1840 in Fayette County, Illinois. She was born in 1822, calculated from the 1850 census record, which listed her as age 34 at that time. |

Mary Green4 (Sarah Harris3, Zachariah2, Isaac1) was born in about 1818 and died between 1844 and 1849. She married James Noble, son of Jonathan and Jemima Noble, on June 5, 1837 in Fayette County, Illinois. He was born in North Carolina in about 1798; he was age 52 when the Fayette County 1850 census was taken. After Mary's death he married a second wife, Mary Nanny, on February 23, 1850 in Fayette County, Illinois. She was born in Tennessee in about 1812; she was age 38 when the 1850 census of Fayette County, Illinois was taken. |

Elizabeth Green4 (Sarah Harris3, Zachariah2, Isaac1) was born April 14, 1820 in Humphreys County, Tennessee. When she was about nine years of age, she moved to Fayette County, Illinois with her family. She married Solomon Hawks on December 29, 1851 in Fayette County, Illinois. He was born October 1, 1808 in Calhoun County, Virginia, and settled in Bond County, Illinois. She was his second wife. He and his first wife had at least five children: 1. Sarah E. Hawks b 1830; 2. Mary Matilda (Hawks) MacManus b 1833; 3. Nancy E. Hawks b 1835; 4. Caroline Hawks b 1836; 5. William F. HAWKS b 1837. Solomon Hawks died May 24, 1870, in Fayette County, Illinois, and was buried in Payne Cemetery, Bond County, Illinois. Elizabeth died Aug 23, 1885 in Fayette County, Illinois. Elizabeth and Solomon Hawks were living in Bond County, Illinois when the 1850 and 1860 censuses were taken. |

Martha Maria Hawks5 (Eliz. Green4, Sarah Harris3, Zachariah2, Isaac1) was born April 22, 1857 in Bond County, Illinois, and died May 3, 1834 in Pueblo, Pueblo County, Colorado. She married Michael John Carroll, on March 12, 1876. He was born June 27, 1854, and died February 5, 1897. He was buried in Payne Cemetery, Bond County, Illinois. They were living in Seminary Township, Fayette County, Illinois when the 1900 census was taken. |

Lucinda Green4 (Sarah Harris3, Zach.2, Isaac1) was born in 1823, in Humphreys County, Tennessee. She was age 27 when the 1850 census of Fayette County, Illinois was taken. She died in 1852 or 1853. She married Thomas Jefferson Sapp, as his second wife. They were married on December 21, 1848 in Fayette County, Illinois.He was born in about 1819 in Maryland. His first marriage was to Harriet Ewings. They were married on September 26, 1843 in Fayette County, Illinois. They had a daughter, Isabel, who was born in Illinois, and was age 4 at census time in 1850. After Lucinda's death Thomas married Christina Mattenlee, daughter of James and Elizabeth Mattenlee. They were married January 8, 1854 in Fayette County, Illinois. Thomas and Christina had four children who were listed in the 1870 census of Fayette County, Illinois. They were, 1. Nancy E. Sapp, age 4; 2. Thomas J. Sapp, age 11; 3. Dorothy Sapp, age 5; 4. Charles N. Sapp, age 2. They were all born in Illinois. |

Martha Green4 (Sarah Harris3, Zachariah2, Isaac1) was born in about 1827 in Humphreys County, Tennessee. She was age 23 when the Fayette County, Illinois 1850 census was taken. Her husband, Russell Shipley, was age 24 and born in Kentucky at that time. Martha and Russell were married on September 3, 1848 in Fayette County, Illinois. They were still living in Fayette County when the 1860 census was taken, but Martha must have died shortly after the time of this census. Russell then married Catherine Ann Eakin, daughter of Samuel Eakin and Eleanor Allen. She was born December 2, 1825, in Virginia, and died December 31, 1907, at Seminary Township, Fayette County, Illinois. She was buried at Noffsinger Cemetery. They had three children: Mary C. Shipley, who was born August 12,1863, Joshua Shipley, who was born January 4,1867, and Charles N. Shipley who was born December 1, 1868. Russell Shipley died October 31, 1876 and was buried in Seminary Cemetery, Seminary Township, Fayette County, Illinois. |

Letitia A. Green4 (Sarah Harris3, Zachariah2, Isaac1) was born in Humphreys County, Tennessee in about 1829; she was age 31 in 1860. The 1850, 1860, and 1870 census records all state that Letitia was born in Tennessee, She may have been born in late 1828 if her parents came to Illinois with the Zachariah Harris family in 1829. She married John Sharp, son of Micajah and Martha Sharp, on September 28, 1852 in Fayette County, Illinois. They were living in Seminary Township when the 1860 and 1870 censuses were taken as well as the 1865 Fayette County, Illinois state census. John Sharp died on March 2, 1865 according to his estate record, but March 1, 1865 is the date on his tombstone. Letitia died February 5, 1881 in Fayette County, Illinois. They were buried in Seminary Cemetery, Fayette County, Illinois. |

Keziah Jane Green4 (Sarah Harris3, Zach.2, Isaac1) was born in Fayette County, Illinois in about 1831; she was age 19 when the Fayette County, Illinois 1850 Census was taken. She was married three times. She married Hickman Miles, son of William Miles and Delila Noble, on October 19, 1848 in Fayette County, Illinois. They did not have any children. Her marriage to her second husband, Elisha Satterlee, was on August 26, 1855 in Fayette County, Illinois. He was born in Indiana in about 1822; he was age 38 when the 1860 census was taken for Seminary Township, Fayette County, Illinois. He was previously married to Nancy Adeline Largent on January 17, 1844 in Fayette County, Illinois. Three children from his first marriage were also listed with the family in 1860. They were: 1. Emeline Satterlee, age 15; 2. Elizabeth Satterlee, age 11; and 3. Emily Satterlee, age 9. Keziah married her third husband, Jacob Etcheson on October 2, 1870 in Fayette County, Illinois. |

Susan "Suckey" Green4 (Sarah Harris3, Zachariah2, Isaac1) was born in Fayette County, Illinois in about 1835; she was 25 years of age when the Fayette County, Illinois 1860 census was taken. She died in 1918 in Fayette County, Illinois, and was buried in Seminary Cemetery, Fayette County, Illinois. She was married twice. She married Thomas Sharp, son of Micajah and Rebecca Sharp, on February 2, 1861 in Montgomery County, Illinois. He was born in Tennessee in about 1831; he was 19 years of age when the Fayette County, Illinois 1850 Census was taken. She married her second husband, Jocephus "Cephus" Mills Mattenlee, son of James Mattenlee, on May 23, 1863 in Fayette County, Illinois. He was born May 10, 1838 in Michigan. He died April 5, 1888 in Fayette County, Illinois, and was buried in Seminary Cemetery, Fayette County, Illinois. The family was living in Seminary Township, Fayette County, Illinois when the censuses were taken in 1860, 1870, and 1880. |

William A. Green4 (Sarah Harris3, Zach.2, Isaac1) was born in Fayette County, Illinois in about 1837; he was age 13 when the 1850 census for Fayette County, Illinois was taken. He was married three times. His first marriage was to Nancy M., whose maiden name is not known. He later married Abigail Suite, on February 25, 1869. She was born in 1845, and died after the birth of her daughter in 1874; but before the 1880 census was taken. His third marriage was to Mary A Miles on September 17, 1882 in Christian County, Illinois. She was age 28 at the time of her marriage. She was born in about 1854 in Bond County, Illinois, and died on March 8, 1904 at Taylorville, Christian County, Illinois at age 50 years, one month, and two days. Her death record also gave the place of her birth. They lived in Bond County, Illinois at census time 1880. |
