Elizabeth "Betsy" Harris³ (Benj²., Isaac¹) was born in Greenville County, South Carolina in 1815; she was age 35 when the White County, Tennessee 1850 Census was taken. She married Jessee B. Terry, son of Joseph Terry. He was born in Tennessee in 1810; he was age 40 at census time in 1850. Dona Terry, wife of George Terry, who descends from this line, has submitted the following data on the descendants of this family. She tells us his family's records indicate Mr. Terry's name was spelled with two "e's" at the end, e.g. "Jessee."

Andrew J. Terry⁴ (Eliz. Harris ³, Benj²., Isaac¹) was born in June 1854 in White County, Tennessee, and died in 1925 in Marion County, Tennessee. He married Martha Adelle whose maiden name is not known. she was born in about 1878 in North Carolina.
