She was born in about 1823 in Tennessee. She died on November 4, 1884 at age 61 years. He died on October 26, 1868. They both died in Fayette County, Illinois, and both were buried in Little Hickory Cemetery there.

She was born in Tennessee in about 1851; she was nine years of age when the 1860 census for Montgomery County, Illinois, was taken. She married her second husband, Thomas H. Patton, in about 1877.

After her death, he married Lavina Elizabeth Casey, daughter of John Casey and Theresa Rhodes³ (Thos.², Alex.¹) on June 6, 1884 in Fayette County, Illinois. They had eight children. Lovina was born March 22, 1869 in Fayette County, Illinois, and died August 4, 1958 in Alton, Madison County, Illinois. She was buried in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
