Mahala Ellen Harris⁴ (Wm. B.³ Wooten², Isaac¹) was born May 19,1843 in Fayette County, Illinois. She died December 31, 1860, in Fillmore, Montgomery County, Illinois. She was married on February 4, 1858 in Fayette County, Illinois to Willis Dodson Casey, who was born December 31, 1833, in Montgomery County, Illinois. He was the son of Abner Casey and Vincynthia Jane Reeves. After Mahala's death he married Ruth Elizabeth Cole on November 19, 1862, in Fayette County, Illinois. He was married a third time on December 11, 1895 in Fayette County, Illinois, to Anna F. Grissom, daughter of Elkanah Grissom and Miss Wilson. Willis died May 10, 1931, in Fayette County, Illinois. Mahala, Willis and Anna are buried in the Casey Cemetery in Montgomery County, Illinois.
